"Come on, we're almost home, we only have to cross the lake." Anzai said to Aiyasha as they moved forward. He looked up at the moon, which was fuller tonight then before. "It will be a full moon in a night or so...then. He paused in thought to look back at the one he was leading, which was ironic seeing as she was his leader. He did notice she was distracted though. Enough so, that he didn't notice he was walking on the water until halfway across.

Aiyasha had pulled to a stop as her front paw stepped into water pulling her out of her thoughts. Peering down at the clear water she noticed the sound of water being stepped upon. She looked up and much to her surprise saw Anzai walking atop the stream. She simply stared, she hadn't seen anything like it before... a wolf walking on water; in reality it shouldn't have been that shocking since she knew Anzai was gifted in the water and ice element, but she was simply caught off guard.

Anzai looked at her surprise expression, then the ground, which wasn't there and he was instead on top of the lake. He nodded his head in self realization and looked by at her. "We should take the straight forward way...both of us..." Anzai closed his eyes, his body glowing. Sudden, his tail split into five now, outreaching and a light coming off them...surrounding Aiyasha as well. "Now we both may cross the lake..." Anzai said quietly, before walking up to her and dipping his head low, gesturing to the side for her to step onto the water.

Aiyasha watched the transformation with a hidden expression. She looked down at her paws as the light began to envelope around her as well. Her attention was pulled away by Anzai's voice. With a quiet nod she stepped onto the lakes water with slight hesitation. Taking a few steps she felt the cool water mingle over her paws slightly. Excitement shot through her as a grin tugged her features, she was used to being able to stand in air, not water. With more spunk she took few more steps and fawned over the moment for a moment before blinking. They were suppose to be heading back to the Den's, not goofing around atop the water. She grinned sheepishly at Anzai before she continued her way.

Anzai watched her excitedly move around as if she were a pup, then look back at him. He just held his face and bent his head down a bit to sldie his paw over his muzzle. When she started back Anzai thought about their situation, more so Aiyasha's."She works hard, despite her age. She's been under stress to keep our pack at peace, and now this..." Anzai watched her trek the water and then had an idea. It was unlike hm but it was for a good cause. He looked down at her hind left leg and pulled the invisible ground from under it, which would cause her foot to go under. He quickly looked off to the side, gving her footing back. After a few moments he did the same to her front right leg, repeating his actions to what her reaction might be. The entire time he kept his serious gaze, though a small ghost smile trailed his face. "She just needs a little time to cool off." Anzai thought as the glow around Aiyasha disappeared.

Aiyasha yelped in slight surprise as her hind leg fell into the lake. She looked back only to find her able to step upon the water once more. 'Hmm...' She thought to herself as she took onother step only for her front paw to fall in this time. Catching herself before her entire bod fell into the lake she looked about in curiosity, but as hidden force keeping her above the water gave way she plummeted into the water. She surfaced with a sputter as it finally dawned on her, Anzai had done it! She turned a wicked look upon the brute as a smirk graced her features. With a gust of wind she knocked Anzai over and into the lake.

Anzai's eyes widen with a yelp as he hit the water in surprise. He hadn't expected the sneak attack, but recovered quickly as he got himself back over water. A deep laugh came in through his throat, first time in forever, as he pulled Aiyasha up onto the surface again as well. "I've not done that since I was a pup...it was...quite liberating." Anzai smiled and then moved up next to her. "A leader you may be, but you're still young...don't let these problems give you gray hairs before your time." He brushed past her slghtly with all five tails before moving forward.

Aiyasha smiled slightly as she prodded after the five-tailed brute, but as she smelt the scent of her pack waft into her senses she could smell Lilly's distress. She scowled something was obviously bothering the pup.
She turned her multi-colored eyes upon Anzai. "We must hurry...Lilly needs me" She mumbled before she turned back from Anzai and ran off towards the den.
